Why ClearPath Consulting Exists

ClearPath Consulting was created to solve a problem many hospitality teams don’t see until it’s too late: guests losing trust due to unclear communication—especially around dining and expectations.

I’m Kaylee, the founder of ClearPath Consulting. I’m a planner at heart and naturally drawn to creating experiences that feel seamless, thoughtful, and easy to navigate. I specialize in helping resorts and hotels see their property the way a first-time guest does, without internal context, assumptions, or insider knowledge.

I bring a background in high-pressure event coordination, guest communication, and hospitality environments where precision and clarity are non-negotiable. As someone who personally navigates food allergies while traveling, I also understand firsthand how unclear information can turn an otherwise great stay into a stressful one. ClearPath combines professional guest-experience analysis with real-world perspective—helping properties identify issues that internal teams often overlook.

We don’t replace your operations team. We act as an outside set of trained eyes, identifying blind spots before guests do, and before they appear in online reviews.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work behind the scenes on high-profile, detail-sensitive events where clarity and coordination were essential. This includes supporting the Canadian Government’s commemorative ceremonies for the 80th Anniversary of D-Day in France and the 60th Anniversary of the Peacekeeping Mission in Cyprus, as well as working with the provincial protocol office on official Royal Visits for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (2011) and The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall (2014). These experiences required precise communication, thoughtful planning, and an understanding that even small moments of confusion can affect how an experience is remembered. That same mindset now informs my work with hospitality teams.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me exploring somewhere new. I live in Eastern Canada, have lived in New Zealand, and have traveled extensively across Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and North America. Each destination has reinforced how important clear communication, intuitive design, and thoughtful information are—especially for first-time guests navigating unfamiliar environments.

Every event, property, and travel experience has strengthened my belief that clarity is one of the most powerful and often overlooked drivers of guest satisfaction. ClearPath Consulting exists to help organizations see their spaces through the eyes of their guests, ensuring every step of the experience feels effortless, welcoming, and well-organized. When guests feel confident and informed, they relax sooner, trust more deeply, and leave with a better story to tell.
